Burrows Basketball Christmas Clinic 2024!
Burrows Basketball Christmas Clinic was a tremendous success! The energy was high, and over the course of three days, the boys not only improved their skills but also had the chance to compete and enjoy a festive holiday experience.
Highlights included a Secret Santa gift exchange and Tim Bits to cap off the event. A big thank you to all the parents for their support and flexibility, especially with the snowy weather. We also want to express our gratitude to the young athletes who gave their best and made the most of this experience.
Looking ahead, we're excited for our Winter Academy in mid-January to February and the upcoming summer team tryouts for 13U, 15U, 16U, and 17U Boys. See you all in the New Year!

October Basketball Skills Academy was a success!
The October Basketball Skills Academy was a great experience filled with growth and hard work for the athletes. Although the group of athletes changed weekly due to various commitments and the Thanksgiving weekend, the coaches were consistently impressed by the progress each athlete made in every session.
Throughout the month, the athletes worked on a wide range of skills, including ball handling, shooting, footwork, defence, and offensive reads. They engaged in 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, and full-court play, all contributing to their development as players.
In the final basketball session, the coaches organized a skills combine, allowing the athletes to participate in various timed drills and activities for a chance to win prizes. To cap off the event, Coach Shamar surprised everyone with TimBits as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work throughout the month.

September was a fantastic month for the Burrows Basketball Skills Academy and Strength & Conditioning Program! These athletes made impressive strides in strength, speed, jump, and agility, with testing results reflecting significant improvements. Huge thanks to Coach Erin and Shamar for their dedication in the weight room. The hard work on the court was equally evident, as the group pushed themselves daily to enhance their skills. Excited to kick off the October Skills Academy today!

Burrows Basketball Skills Academy and Stregth & Conditioning Program is off to an excellent start (Sept 2024). Coaches Erin and Shamar have played crucial roles in the weight room, where the players have shown remarkable focus, energy, and dedication, attending sessions twice a week for personal development.
On the basketball court, Coach Shamar has been a driving force, guiding the group as they remain focused and determined to improve throughout September in preparation for the upcoming school season.

Basketball New Brunswick Summerfest Champions 2024!
Burrows Basketball 16U Boys wrapped up their summer AAU season with a thrilling championship victory in Fredericton, New Brunswick, finishing the weekend with a perfect 4-0 record. Throughout the tournament, different players rose to the occasion, showcasing the team’s depth and versatility.
In Game 1, Gabe Botchett led the charge, setting a strong foundation. Game 2 saw Liam Kirby deliver a sensational performance that captured everyone’s attention. By Game 3, Harrison Norman made a significant impact, proving crucial to the team’s success. In the final game, it was a remarkable team effort, but Earle Conrad and Harrison Norman stood out, delivering key plays when it mattered most to clinch the championship.

Burrows Basketball Weekend JamFest Tournament 2024 (Silver)
Burrows Basketball 15U Boys concluded the Burrows Basketball Weekend JamFest Tournament with a well-earned silver medal. Despite a close contest, the team fell just short of victory, losing to 5 Stars by a narrow 3-point margin in the championship game. Throughout the tournament, the team displayed exceptional grit, strong chemistry, and exemplary sportsmanship, making their performance a standout success.

Burrows Basketball Weekend JamFest Tournament 2024 (Bronze)
Burrows Basketball 16U Boys concluded the Burrows Basketball Weekend JamFest Tournament with a bronze medal. Burrows Basketball 16U battled hard against both YHZ-National and YHZ-Regional. Throughout the tournament, the team displayed lots of talent, potential, and exemplary sportsmanship, making their performance a standout success.
